I'm Joel, the fellow who created the Credit Card Tune-Up tool.

I'm surprised you haven't embraced this money hack (rewards cards).  It's my personal favorite.  It's like always having a coupon for every purchase, but not having to exert any effort.  Most peoples' spending profiles can earn 2% back overall if they use the right card or two.  Just using a card like AmEx Blue Cash or Citi Driver's Edge is all it takes.
